Can recommend for a short stint
Spacious room, friendly staff, with easy access to nearby restaurants and grocery stores make this place a practical choice for visitors wanting to explore the area comfortably.
Shower issues during my stay.

A cozy stay with surprises
Woke up to pancakes and fresh fruit waiting for us. The staff was attentive, and our room had direct access to the lovely outdoor hot tub.
However, the air conditioning was inconsistent. we found ourselves sweltering at night despite setting it low. It didn’t ruin our fun, but note it’s worth addressing.

The mini-fridge in my room was a lifesaver for keeping snacks cold! Clean, spacious room, but the parking was tricky due to size limits. Overall, a nice stay. 👍

I hit the jackpot with the local eats! Companion Bakeshop had these to-die-for pastries and Thai Orchid was a feast for the senses. Also, the free breakfast at the inn was a nice touch, keeping my mornings tasty and hassle-free!
But the bathroom cleanliness was a bummer, with hair left from other guests and trash cans overflowing. The pool? More like a jacuzzi for a crowd, but it was drowning in leaves and debris. Maintenance really needs to step it up!

Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast with waffles and fresh fruit. The bathroom cleanliness needs improvement. there was some hair on the floor. Parking close to the entrance was a big plus.

Recommend it for budget-savvy travelers
This place surprised me with a beautiful hot tub that provided a perfect escape after a long day. The breakfast was quite incredible, way more than the usual stale bagels, they had a waffle maker and fresh fruits!
Sure, it wasn’t exactly a steal, but still pretty reasonable.

We had a fantastic time at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where my kids loved the thrilling rides. The hotel was perfect for our big family, and having our large dog with us made it feel like a true getaway. The nearby grocery stores made it easy to grab snacks for our days out.
My kids wished for a larger breakfast selection to keep everyone happy in the mornings.

I enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the TV, and the night staff quickly fixed it. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast included hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. I appreciated the nearby dining options and found everything convenient as a solo traveler from New York. I would stay here again.

The room was super clean and modern. I loved how cozy the hot tub felt after a long day. There’s also a nice sauna, perfect for relaxation! Just a minor bummer was the noise from guests above, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. 😊

I felt so at home in our cozy room with a jetted tub after an adventurous day. The breakfast was a delightful mix of fresh fruits and waffle-making fun! Plus, being just a short walk from the beach made our family strolls totally magical.

It was a perfect match for a city escape in Santa Cruz with very good value for money. The staff was really accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night, making the change of rooms easy. Arrive early for breakfast to enjoy the fresh offerings before they run out.

missingWrote a review on May 02spacious roomgood breakfastclean facilitiesclogged toilet
The Deluxe Queen Room featured a spacious and well-appointed atmosphere. it felt as clean and comfortable as a Hilton or Hyatt property. The breakfast selection offered satisfying options like bagels, fruit, and hard boiled eggs, though not gourmet, it met basic morning needs.
Encountered a few hiccups that took the edge off my stay. The shower didn’t work in the morning, and the bathtub barely trickled water—probably the worst morning I’ve had. Upon checking in early, the toilet was on the verge of overflowing, which was surprising. Dealing with plunging duties for a clogged toilet was not what I signed up for. felt a bit off putting. Plus, the bed linens had visible cigarette burns, and I noticed some black mold in the bathroom. I did hear complaints about breakfast being underwhelming, and I have to admit they weren't entirely incorrect.
